A highly regarded tech reporter has broken the news-- Bloglines has stopped working. As per the source it's time for Bloglines users to switch to some reader as for some time now Bloglines is neither updating feeds nor is it communicating to users what is going on or when it might be fixed.
For Bloglines it appears to be the same old "Big fish eats the small fish" story( No prizes for guessing who the Big fish is. )
How to export you Bloglines feeds to the Google Reader:
In case you've decided to switch over and wish to transfer all the Bloglines feed to Google Reader. Here is the procedure:
1. After you sign in Click on the “Export Subscriptions” link on the bottom left of the page on Bloglines.
2. Save the xml file to some location in your desktop (by default it gets saved on the desktop)
3. Log in to Google Reader, click on the "Manage Subscriptions" at the bottom left of the page.
4. Click on the "import/Export" tab (in the tabs queue just below the Settings)
5.Click on browse button and locate the xml file, click upload
6. You're done.
