A survey conducted among AT&T mobile subscribers in North America, revealed that 57 out of 100 mobile users play games on their mobiles in addition to talking and texting.

According ot Nielsen, in February 2009, Out of 55.8 mobile internet users in US , 8.7 million play games on their mobiles. This accounts for 16 percent to the total mobile internet users.
