According to a report released by uSwitch.com, quoted here,
An average British now spends almost 30 hours a week online. So out of 168 hours a week, a British now spends 18 percent of his/her time online.
For weekdays the average time spent online is ____5 hours
Out of which 2 hours are related to work while the remaining 3 hours are for personal reasons including activities like emailing, shopping chatting socializing etc.
For weekends the average time spent is _________3 hours a day
Thus majority of online presence happens during the weekends, 25 hours or
83 percent of total time spent online per week.
The demography which spends higher than the above average is 18 – 24 years.
