On 12 Oct 2009, Yahoo!’s photo sharing site Flickr has achieved the 4 billion photos landmark.
The popular photo sharing site has taken just 5 and a half months to go from 3 billion to 4 billion photos landmark.
Interestingly it took Flikr almost 18 months to go from 2 billion to 3 billion milestone.
Thus Flikr is now growing at thrice the rate; it was growing at a year ago.
