According to a comScore study, in Sep 2009, the internet population in India reached 35.8 million or 3.85 crore. The Indian internet population has grown 17 percent in the past one year (September 2009 vs. September 2008).
At the same time Last year (Sep 2008) the Indian internet population was 30.7 million or 3.07 crore.
India is one of the top contributors in the rapid Growth in Asia Pacific Internet Audience.
