According to Reuters quoting an executive of Sprint Nextel, customers are eagerly waiting for EVO—Sprint’s new high-speed wireless phone (making use of Sprint’s 4G service) made by HTC Corp. Testimony to it is the long waiting list, Sprint says it has for the new phone.
The company is going to announce pricing and availability for the phone shortly; and expects to start selling the phone this summer when Apple is expected to debut a new iPhone.
EVO will most probably be the first 4G phone available in the United States.
