How successful is EBay iPhone Application

According to eBay Inc Chief Executive John Donahoe,

EBay’s application for Apple Inc's iPhone has been downloaded 10 million times till now. EBay had said in March that 8 million people had downloaded its iPhone app. Hence the company managed 2 million downloads in 2 months.

The company expects $1.5 billion to $2 billion in transactions to be conducted using the mobile application this year. This is 233 percent more than the last year volume of $600 million.

Ebay has also rolled out a similar application for Apple iPad, which is also seeing a great pick up. --------
