Half of iPhone owners want to switch to Verizon: Study

According to a new study from professionals service firm Deloitte,

Close to half of Apple Inc iPhone users in the United States would be "very interested" in dumping AT&T Inc for Verizon Wireless as a service provider.

This study gives some credence to the view that if another carrier were to pick up the iPhone, one would probably see a number of defections.

The study also found that 55 percent of respondents said they are not very interested in purchasing the Apple's iPad digital tablet. --------
