According to reports, Canada-based Research In Motion (RIM) is getting ready to officially unveil its tablet device, BlackPad, at the BlackBerry Developer Conference in San Francisco next week.
RIM BlackPad is expected to compete with Apple iPad, of which three million units were sold in only 80 days and the company is still finding it tough to meet the burgeoning demand. Recently launched China; It is estimated that Apple would sell 28 million iPads in 2011 alone.
One thing which goes well with RIM Blackpad is RIM’s reputation among businesses and that experts think will help BlackPad establish itself in the tablet market.
The BlackPad will have a 7-inch display and one or two cameras. It is expected to have Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The BlackPad will not have 3G capabilities.
