HP Pavilion dm1 Netbook to be offered by Verizon at subsidy

Verizon has announced that it will offer one of HP's latest and somewhat unique(in being powered by AMD hardware)netbooks, the Pavilion dm1, subsidized and connected to its 3G network(allowing for full access to the Verizon Wireless 3G network while a SIM card lets it access networks outside America).

Specs:

1) 11.6-inch screen with a native resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels

2) has a configuration based on the AMD Athlon II Neo K325 central processing unit, with 1.3 GHz clock frequency.

3) 2 GB of DDR3 memory and paired with the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4225 integrated graphics.

4) A 320 GB hard disk, complemented by HP Cloud Drive online storage.

5) Built-in Altec Lansing speakers and a webcam

Pricing: The netbook itself is priced at $199.99, with a $100 mail-in rebate and a customer agreement of two years on a Mobile Broadband plan. To use the HP Cloud Drive service, a free 30-day trial is offered for 100 GB, after which customers will retain the right to benefit from 2 GB free of charge. After that the user can begin paying the service depending on how much storage they go for. --------
