India's second-largest mobile phone operator by subscribers, Reliance Communications currently offers 2G or Second-generation services under the global system for mobile communications(GSM) and code-division multiple access technologies(CDMA) in all the 22 Telecom service areas of India. It had more than 117.3 million subscribers at the end of September.
The company today started 3G services in 4 major cities of the country.
Bharti Airtel, India's top telecom company on subscriber count, has 150 million subscribers in the country.
