BlueAnt unveils wired Headset at CES 2011...Hmmm

BlueAnt, the makers of great Bluetooth headsets and wireless accessories, with some pretty killer Bluetooth headsets and hands-free car accessories, has unveiled a wired headset. Yes a wired headset, seems pretty odd.

But like BlueAnt’s other products, the new stereo headset is again quite impressive.
Impressive points: The comfort foam that molds or shapes itself to the ears, blocks noice well and is quite comfortable.According to BlueAnt, the noise cancellation technology wasn’t necessary because the ear pads are designed to take care of that that aspect.

On the sound quality from the stereo headset, the company said:

BlueAnt’s “true sound” stereo headset replicates sound in its purest form, and gives consumers the freedom to adjust and modify it to suit their personal listening preferences. The BlueAnt Stereo Headset also is designed to minimize compression and distortion. Delivering a sound clean and appropriate for a particular genre.

Additional compatibilities:

Additionally, the BlueAnt Stereo Headset will ship with an Apple-compatible wire that has in-line controls for an iPod, iPad or iPhone.

Price & Availability: The stereo headset will be available around March and will retail for $199 to start.
