60 Percent the Facebook 2010 ad revenue, or $1.12 billion, came from small and medium-size companies, reports eMarketer. In Dollars terms this comes out to be $672 million.
The majority of these businesses used Facebook's self-serve options, which Facebook worked on and improved over the year to provide companies with better feedback. And notably most SMBEs bought advertising in bulk; something which they are familiar with, courtesy to their years of experience with Google Ad network; the expertise which they are now taking to Facebook.
