Nicholas Tesla, a Serbian emigrant and an inventor, a contemporary of Thomas Edison, is credited for making Alternating Current, power the world.
Tesla, a genius who had nearly 700 patents under his name, that range from alternating current, radio, fluorescent lighting, remote control and robotics; spent a considerable duration of his life, testing electricity travel between two points in atmosphere without wire. He was quite successful in his experiments, that show him sitting in his lab, with electricity flying wirelessly amidst poles with copper tops. Just like, some Geeks are doing in the video below; but the good thing is, in place of real electricity they are using Kinect, Microsoft's motion gaming peripheral, to create an illusion of the Tesla's lab.
