THQ may have not given its full attention on Metro 2033. But this time, the publisher has promised to give its sequel the full development and marketing support that it needs.
That’s right! THQ has officially announced the official sequel to its survival horror first-person shooter game. The game which was rumored to be named as Metro 2034 will finally be setting off as “Metro: Last Light” and is currently being developed by 4A Games. The game will be based upon Dmitry Glukhovsky’s best-selling novel entitled Metro 2034.
Apart from this, it has also been announced that the game will be more polished and will be packed with a more intense and breathtaking gameplay. As for its story, the game will return to the post-apocalyptic Moscow where a civil war has been on the brink of fighting over a powerful doomsday device that could lead to the destruction of humanity.
On the other hand, the game’s announcement trailer has already been released. It showcased a bunch of concept arts along with a teaser that states the game’s upcoming release.
Metro: Last Light has officially been unveiled by THQ at this week’s E3. It will be released on 2012 and will be made available to Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
