Pope Tweets for the first Time

Listen atheists, Pope Benedict XVI, is on Twitter!

Using Twitter for the first time on Tuesday, the Pope tweets:

“Dear Friends, I just launched News.va Praised be our Lord Jesus Christ! With my prayers and blessings, Benedictus XVI.”

The portal mentioned in the tweet, www.news.va, is Vatican news information portal which will aggregate information from the Vatican’s various print, broadcast and online media. Below is the video showing Pope launching the portal:
