You might be sad to know about this but it has already been confirmed that Rebecca Black’s Friday can no longer be viewed on YouTube. The said video has been taken down due to a copyright claim by Black.
No other reasons have been stated for this removal though, but YouTube did state that it does not tolerate any copyright infringement. But if that is the case, shouldn’t it be the other way around?
Looking back, the hit “Friday” music video has garnered over a hundred sixty million hits at YouTube. But unlike any other viral videos, Ms. Black’s Friday has received a lot of negative comments and detractors. It’s probably the only video that has been made popular due to a number of dislikes and hateful calls.
As for those who have missed “Friday”, you can still watch a bunch of parody videos. Hit the break for a demo.
