Indian rupee symbol (the one designed by an IITian D Udaya Kumar) has finally got a place on the computer keyboard.
Lenovo, the Chinese PC maker, has become the first computer manufacturer to include the rupee symbol on its keyboards. From now on, every Lenovo computer sold in India will have the rupee symbol on it.
In Lenovo M60E desktop, one can find the Indian rupee symbol, on the key which is currently occupied by number 4 and US currency symbol dollar($) (See pic on the left).
