Who US trusts with mobile payments?

According to a recent study conducted in US* by Ogilvy & Mather, an international advertising, marketing and public relations agency (David Ogilvy is called the Father of Advertising), when it comes to mobile payments, consumers trust credit card companies — such as Visa, MasterCard and American Express — over technology brands, including Facebook,Google and Apple,

Understandably, the consumers may prefer credit card companies or the companies which are primarily into online payments, over web companies like Google and Facebook, who rolled out their mobile payment technologies like Google Wallet and Mobile Wallet respectively in recent years; as there is relatively less security (privacy) issues with the former.
