The downing of shutter for Google Reader may not affect the world much. The reasons is: in recent times people have stopped reading news in a Reader. The area of news discovery has changed drastically in the past two years. In addition, Google Reader never gave much to bloggers either. Hence no one is crying at its demise.

Google Reader was Launched in 2005 and will be shut down on July 1, 2013. Users and developers interested in RSS alternatives can export their data, including their subscriptions, with Google Takeout over the course of the next four months. --------
