Federal Reserve is the latest entrant on the twitter.
Entering with an objective to Tweet on Monetary Policy, the Federal Reserve Twitter handle is: @federalreserve.
The Fed today introduced its Twitter channel “with the aim of increasing the accessibility and availability of Federal Reserve Board news,” according to a statement today in Washington. Aimed at increasing public understanding of the U.S. central bank, Fed Reserve’s twitter channel will tweet about its press releases, speeches, testimony and reports to Congress -- and even the central bank’s weekly balance sheet. That apart it will also tweet “educational frequently asked questions.”
