How successful are online-ads on mobile in India

According to a Nokia-TNS India study, quoted by a news,

18 out of every 100 mobile web surfers noticed a mobile banner ad.

Out of these 18, about 10 surfers went on to visit the site of the advertiser.

A 10 percent click-through rate.

In most cases, a 2% click-through rate would be considered very successful.
