Launched recently, Google's Android store has 4900 apps.
Apple's App Store for the iPhone and iPod touch in comparison has 35000 apps.
Thus on App count, Google's store is 14 percent of the size of the Apple's Store.
Donut: The next Android update is code-named Donut. Google claims it to have more powerful search abilities along with text-to-speech capabilities.
