On October 29, Apple released iTunes 9.0.2, an update that included additional improvements to app sorting for the iPhoneand iPod Touch.
The earlier ones, iTunes 9.0 and iTunes 9.0.1, having the primary objective of bringing and improving the app sorting, feature failed to work properly if the number of apps on your iPhone exceeded 176.
Whether Apple has resolved this 176 apps obstacle with the most recent update, is for you to decide.
