Global Smartphone revenue by 2012

According to Gartner,

Smartphone revenue is expected to reach $191 million by 2012.

The money which people are going to spend on laptops by then will be about $152 million.

Thus Smartphone revenue is going to out pace that of laptops.

So major device makers will make or continue making laptops as well as smartphones. --------
