A recent study has revealed that Social networking sites account for more than 25 Percent of U.K. Online Display Ad Impressions. In short online display advertising ads on SNs perform best, when it comes to ad impressions.
Social networking sites accounted for 13.8 billion display ad impressions in August 2009, representing more than 25 percent of all display ads viewed online.
Secondary inference:
The total ad impression in UK for the month of August 2009 is 55.2 billion.
