According to an article on MediaPost, twitter, the micro blogging platform will just be a month away from making money. The article quotes Anamitra Banerji, head of product management and development at Twitter, as saying that they're currently in beta on an ad delivery platform.
According to Banerji the platform will make it "explicitly clear" when tweets originate from a sponsor and, also ensure that the ad is "relevant and useful to the user (some form of context advertising on the basis of user tweets).
