Social media analytics company PostRank has found that almost all the content on Google Buzz , Google’s social networking and messaging tool, designed to integrate into the company's web-based email program, Gmail.— almost 90% — comes from automated sources.
62.57% of Buzz posts originate on Twitter. That’s users are making tweets and automatically re-posting them to Buzz.
26.47% of total content originates from websites: In the same way websites are also taking automatic route through RSS feed to post their new articles and posts without adding any additional content.
62.57 + 26.47 = 89.04 Percent
The findings of PostRank point that users although believe buzz to have a bright future; they currently are spending their time and effort on rival platforms.
