Google Android at number 4 in Q1 2010

Google Inc's Android stood at fourth place in the first quarter of 2010, in the number of smartphones sold which use Android Operating system (according to Research firm Gartner).
Android stole the 4th position from Microsoft Corp's Windows Mobile, in a market (mobile browsing) which appears to surpass computers for accessing the web.

The mobile web browser rankings for the first quarter of 2010, on the basis of number of smartphones sold which use that particular operating system:

Nokia’s Symbian______________ 44.3 percent
RIM________________________ 19.4 percent
Apple iPhone OS_____________ 15.4 percent
Google Android______________ 9.6 percent
Microsoft’s Windows Mobile_____6.8 percent
Linux__________________________3.7 percent
