Google to stop selling Nexus One online

Google has announced that it’s closing its 4-month-old online cell phone store, abandoning an ambitious plan by the Web search leader to redefine wireless retailing. Instead the Search giant will work with partners to sell Nexus One through retail outlets.

Google smartphones enthusiasts can still see the phones; but they have to walk to the retail store to buy.

So with this Google's experiment with offering a smartphone online, without giving the buyer the opportunity to feel the phone in real before the purchase has ended. It should be noted that back in January when Google started selling Nexus One online, it underlined that more smartphones will come from Google stable in coming time. --------
