According to Anssi Vanjoki, head of Nokia's Mobile solutions, shared at Nokia blog:
"Symbian and MeeGo are the best software for our(Nokia's) smartest devices. As such, we have no plans to use any other software," adding "there are no plans to introduce an Android device from Nokia."
So amidst the forecasts of weaker than expected second-quarter sales and profits at its key phones unit, as it struggles to compete against Apple's iPhone; plus decline in profit margin at the phone business in 2010; Nokia has conviction that Symbian and MeeGo is the right way to go to smartphone supremacy.
