According to Chang Ma, vice president of marketing for LG's mobile-devices unit, the company is planning to launch a tablet computer by the fourth quarter under its Optimus line.
In an interview to the Wall Street Journal, Ma said, the new tablet of Optimus line,
“will allow the users to write documents, edit video and do other advanced activities using their tablet machine; and will be surprisingly productive. Optimus will have some “high-end features and new benefits” with a productivity bent”. The tablet will be better than the iPad, admitting that Apple’s tablet is a fine device, but slammed the iPad for not allowing people do much work on it.”
Amidst speculations about Optimus, USA News Week, thinks the tablet to have:
1) a 10 inches screen
2) will run Android 3.0
