Initially it appeared as if Apple had turned less autocratic on its app development rules, after its spat with Adobe; but things have not changed much. An app that allows an iPad user to run Windows on an Ipad, was briefly allowed and then pulled away.
The more things change, the more they remain the same; at least for Apple.
The said application, called iDOS, costed only 99 cents, was based on DOSbox, an open source DOS emulator; allowed DOS on iPad. It has PC keyboard support, mouse support and multiple screen modes.
Although people are already running various DOS based games on their iPads; Apple decided to do the culling on its platform.
