Beats by Dr. Dre and Monster unveil BeatBox and four new Headphones

Monster's Beats by Dr. Dre portable audio line up has unveiled a new iPod-friendly docking speaker station, called BeatBox; along with four new head phones, including signature headphones bearing the name LeBron James. All five will be available this Holiday season.

Beat Box: new iPod-friendly docking speaker station:

BeatBox speaker system purports to be a “game-changing” portable digital sound system that offers a high-end audio experience in a portable box, features two 5.25-inch bass drivers and 2-inch high-frequency drivers to reproduce a wide range of sound, along with a rugged ABS housing, a minimalist black-on-black color scheme (with silicon rubber controllers and feet), and a built-in carrying handle. The unit can handle iPods and iPhones via a top-mounted docking port. According to the company: the BeatBox offers a club-like sounds experience in a tiny package

Monster Beats new headphones:

1) First headphones are new signature Powerbeats performance sports headphones bearing the name of basketball star LeBron James. Available in red, black, or white, the Powerbeats feature a dual-drier design with an adjustable over-the-ear loop that keeps the headphones secure even during much perspiration. A featue not much seen is a non-noise occluding eartip so listeners can still pick up on peripheral noises going on in the surroundings (to hear traffic and teammates during dricign and games.)

2) Second Headphones are the new iBeats in-ear headphones. iBeats feature a sealed design that blocks out external noise, and also Monster’s ControlTalk headphone cable ( with iPhones and iPod to control music playback and handle hands-free calls, also works with a variety of other smartphones.

3) Third unveiling are the JustBeats headphones are named for Justin Beiber, and are for his fans, that is young music fans. JustBeats sport purple, favorite color, finishes ; and will be available in both in-ear and over-ear models, and be available solely through retailer Best Buy.

Retail Price: Not out yet, will retail exclusively on Best Buy Stores.

4) Fourth and final are the Beats Pro over-ear headphones aimed to be the flagship of the Beats headphone line, aimed at DJs audio professionals looking for high quality and sound isolation in production and reference headphones. The headphones feature all-metal lightweight aluminum body construction for durability, flip-up cups to let DJs monitor a room (to keep a tab on other happenings in their stage and creation rooms); and a dual input-output cable lets users share feeds by daisy-chaining headphones.
