T-Mobile Launches myTouch for its HSPA+ network

Wireless carrier T-Mobile USA has launched a new smartphone, the Android-powered T-Mobile myTouch, with support for the T-Mobile’s new super-fast HSPA+ mobile broadband network.

T-Mobile myTouch smart phone features include video chat capabilities (a front facing camera allows video chat on Yahoo! Messenger or QIK, while offering presence information integrated into the address book and the possibility to leave Video Mail with Qik when people are unavailable for conversation.), photo and video sharing(thru its DLNA* functionality—A functionality through which one can share photo albums, videos and movies wirelessly with compatible HDTVs or DLNA certified devices in his/her Home), plus the ability to offer 4G speeds on T-Mobile’s new network.

2) 3.8-inch WVGA touch-screen display

3) A 5-megapixel camera

4) MicroSD memory card slot with a pre-installed 8 GB card

5) Runs on Google's Android 2.2 Froyo operating system(latest of Android OS)

6) Has a virtual keyboard and Swype for easy text input

7) Also sports a high-quality HD Camcorder

8) In addition, there are three exclusive myTouch features: Genius Button, Faves Gallery, and myModes.

The phone will be available this Holiday season.

UPDATE: On Wednesday, 03 November 2010, T-Mobile has started selling the T-Mobile myTouch 4G or HSPA+ (T-Mobile's second 4G device). The phone is available in black, plum, red, and white colors.
