TomTom Launches discounted roadside assistance and free customization on select PNDs

TomTom is launching a discounted roadside assistance service for owners of its portable navigation devices (PNDs) and free customization(available to consumers who buy any of five PNDs through TomTom's website) of select new PNDs with custom graphics, artwork or photos.

Available to U.S. and Canadian owners, the Roadside Assistance service will be available at discounted prices to owners of any TomTom PND or TomTom iPhone app.

The service covers towing, flat tire repair, jump starts, vehicle lockout service, fuel delivery and the like. It's available through Cross Country Automotive Services.

Consumers will get a choice between an annual membership fee or per-incident fee.

The customizable PNDs are the EASE (black or white), XL 350 TM, XL 340 S, XXL 550 TM and XL 540 S. --------
