Jason Stephens, a massage therapist and graduate student, has used Microsoft's Kinect in combination with a video projector to create "flow fields" that follow his hands on a client's body while he performs a massage. Calling his hack as a "technologically mediated healing modality"; Jason wants the world to believe that his hack actually contributes to the relaxation process; which we think can't be believed though. But one thing is for sure; if the client can see the flow fields then he/she may get the impression that the massage is proper and doing a world of benefit to him/her.
