Facebook users in US as of end December 2011
In its documents for IPO filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission ( SEC) , for the upcoming IPO, Facebook said that in the past one year the number of users in US (MAUs or Most Active Users, those who accessed the network in the last 30 days) grew 16 per cent and reached 161 million MAUs in the US as on December 31, 2011.
