Waterproof, ultra-slim Sony Xperia Tablet Z launched

Yes you don't carry the tablet inside a Swimming pool. But some people do take their tablets to bathrooms. That said, Sony today launched the Xperia Tablet Z, a 10.1-inch Android tablet, which is water proof. And dust proof as well.

Sony Xperia Tablet Z, was showcased in February at mobile World Congress at Barcelona this year.

Sony Xperia tablet Z is ultra Thin, and ultra light (the slimmest and lightest tablets launched so far) but feels robust.

Sony also announced that its flagship smartphone, Xperia Z will start shipping from March 1.

Price of Sony Xperia Tablet z: $499 for 16GB variant and $600 for 32 GB variant

Availability of Sony Xperia Tablet Z: Officially announced in Japan last month and will be available globally from Q2 2013. It will be available in black and white colour options.

Sony Xperia Tablet z Accessories: Just like Apple, Sony will be bringing a range of accessories for the tablet, which include a charging cradle, an LCD Screen Protector and Leather Carrying Cover that comes in Black, White or Red. Like Apple, the buyer will have to pay extra money.
