Apple ipad 5 with narrower bezel, Optimized Battery...coming September

Apple iPad 5 is rumored to have a September Launch. The fifth gen 9.7 inch iPad will have Optimized Battery, narrower bezel. iPad Mini launch delayed.

Apple will launch its fifth generation iPad, the iPad 5 in September. While the launch of 7.9 inch iPad, Apple iPad Mini, could be delayed as little longer, says IBT.

What changes to expect in Apple ipad 5?

The iPad 5, featuring a 9.7-inch screen with Retina Display, will have a slimmer bezel (The broad white or black border around iPad display), allowing a bigger viewing area. In addition, the ipad5's LED tubes to backlight the Retina Display will be reduced from two to one. The battery's longevity will also be improved.

According to the DigiTimes report, the iPad 5 will be unveiled sometime in September 2013. The second iteration of the iPad mini, Apple iPad Mini 2, may be delayed to the end of the year (November 2013). It has been reported that, Apple is still unsure, whether the 7.9-inch iPad mini 2 feature a Retina Display or not. That apart, Apple is considering reducing the iPad mini 2’s bezel size even further to achieve “a bezel-less design”. Something, HTC and samsung are offering to its buyers.

Analysts at NPD DisplaySearch have also cast doubt on Apple’s plans for a Retina Display-featuring iPad mini for 2013. According to them, Apple will release a thinner iPad mini later this year, followed by an updated version in the first quarter of 2014 (Apr-Jun2014) with Retina Display and an improved processor. --------
