If you are waiting for the Xiaomi Redmi 2, then it's to inform you that the Redmi 2 has been unveiled in China to replace the older Xiaomi Redmi 1S budget smartphone. In China the next iteration of Xiaomi Hongmi 1S (equivalent of Redmi 1S) will be called the Xiaomi Hongmi 2.
