Recently Facebook created an app which enabled users to place an overlay of the gay pride rainbow flag over their profile picture. Then a free app is created by Glip Founder To access it and place it over your Facebook profile picture, go to CelebrateTheUSA[DOT]org and follow the instructions.
The app will create an image of your profile picture overlaid with the American flag, and you then will have to choose that as your profile photo. It overlays the American flag as a transparent overlay, so you can still see your picture but you can see the American flag.
