Each suit will give different capabilities for the character. The ywill have their own strengths and weaknesses.

Call of Duty Online will come to China, courtesy an agreement signed by Activision Blizzard and Tencent.

Activision Blizzard, Inc., the largest third-party interactive entertainment software publisher, and Tencent Holdings Limited, a leading Internet services provider in China, today announced a strategic relationship to bring Call of Duty Online to Chinese game players.

Call of Duty Online has been in development by Activision Publishing, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard, for approximately two years. Under the multi-year agreement with Activision Publishing, Tencent has the exclusive license to operate Call of Duty Online in mainland China. The game is free-to-play and monetized through the sales of in-game items.

The new game Call of Duty Online for China will capitalize on the rich multiplayer experience that the Call of Duty franchise is known for and introduce a new gaming model designed specifically for the Chinese market. This new model will allow players the ability to personalize their weapons, characters and equipment like never before in a Call of Duty game. Using an in-game store, players can enhance their weapons, gear, and perks built specifically for the Chinese market. The new game will also bring a variety of game modes and maps and features an original story told through a series of Special Operations missions based on the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare® universe. ---------

Prototype 2, scheduled for an April 24 2012 release, is offering you two new incentives, if you preorder the title now.

Preordering at Amazon, will get you a code to download the first issue of the Prototype 2 comic from Dark Horse, titled The Anchor. Choosing BestBuy to spend your money will give you an exclusive steelbook case in addition to the previously announced Hardened Steel Vehicle Armor upgrade.

That apart, all pre-orders will get access to the RADNET edition of Prototype 2, which includes 55 free items delivered during the seven weeks post launch, April 24 for Xbox 360 and PS3 and July 24 for PC.

RADNET offers bonus mutations, Alex Mercer playable skin, in-game events, challenges, avatar items, themes and behind-the-scenes content. But Activision reminds, Things can change.

Activision rolls out first downloadable maps for Modern Warfare 3

Activision Blizzard has rolled out two new multiplayer maps. The maps are the first downloadable content for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3.

Modern Warfare 3’s, which is the the best-selling video game of all time, new maps will launch on Tuesday, Jan. 24.

The first map is Liberation, set in a militarized Central Park in New York; with long sight-lines for snipers; good for team games like Domination. A couple of gun turrets on either side of the map, enables the gamer to hold down locations better.

About Maps:

The other map is Piazza, set in an Italian seaside village. The map has tight corridors and is a vertical map, where a gamer fights up a series of stairs and multi-story buildings in the hillside town.

That apart, there will be monthly Down Loadable Content all the way through September, with new kinds of game modes and other content as well, reports VB. ---------
