Brutal Legend,was launched for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 a few years back. Now, Brutal Legend for PC has been announced and is coming soon.

Brutal Legend will sell for $19.99 on Steam at full price, but you can pre-order it right now and only spend $14.99.

Dead Space 3 Demo for XBOX360 and PS3 Coming Soon

Today, Game Maker Electronic Arts announced that a playable demo of Dead Space 3, for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles, will be available on January 22, 2013. EA didn't tell when title will be released for PC.

Even more, Xbox 360 gamers get a chance to play the demo a week early by signing up.

What is on Offer in the Demo:

"Players will be thrust into deep space terror when unwilling hero — Isaac Clarke — and all-new co-op companion — Sergeant John Carver — crash land on Tau Volantis, an unforgiving ice planet teeming with Necromorphs. Dead Space 3 takes the franchise's core elements of suspense, horror, action and sound and introduces them to all-new elements — including co-op play - that allows players to work together to take down the most ambitious Dead Space experience yet." said EA.

The upcoming demo will include co-op play allowing gamers to don the roles of Isaac Clarke and John Carver.That apart there is weapon crafting and support for Kinect. All a person has to say is "Quick Heal" and you're healed. Words "Give Partner Ammo" will give the co-op partner much needed ammunition.

Availability:

Dead Space 3 will be released in North America on February 5 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Widows PC.The release date for Europe is February 8.


System Requirements for PC gamers:

A 2.8 GHz single-core processor or equivalent, at least 2 GB of RAM for Vista and Windows 7.

Deponia is a third-person point and click PC game that you can download via Steam. It follows the story of an ill-tempered young man named Rufus as he tries to devise a lot of hapless plans to escape the garbage covered planet of ‘Deponia’.

What makes this game even more interesting is the fact that the characters have been well portrayed and you can clearly follow the story that will somewhat develop the personality of the grumpy protagonist. He is apparently tired of being stuck in the lowest social class and he will do anything just to escape from his boring world of trash. Unfortunately, his attempts to escape would always fail. Nevertheless, his failed pursuits eventually led him to meet Goal, a gorgeous lady who happens to be from the upper social class. Rufus also learned that he looks exactly like Goal’s husband. He then starts to create a scheme that could bring him to the world of the rich but he won’t be able succeed because of the feelings that he is keeping for the upper-class beauty. Your job is to guide Rufus throughout his journey.

Deponia isn’t your usual strategy game. It’s a third-person point and click game that would require a heap of wits. Plus, you will be amazed to see its stunning 2D graphics. You don’t really need to memorize a lot of controls. Just use a responsive mouse and you’re good to go! Gameplay wise, you have to follow a plot that will lead to the next chapter of your lead character’s wacky adventures. You will also be tasked to collect a variety of objects. For example, you need a hand torch to put some fire in the oven and a whole lot more. The actions that you need to take would determine your overall progress in the game.

I’ve played a lot of strategy games but there’s something about Deponia that you cannot easily find on any other games. It will definitely get you hooked as you will be eager to know how the lead protagonist will be able to win the heart of his beloved maiden and will he be able to succeed in escaping his own junk-filled world?

Developed by Daedalic Entertainment, the free demo version of Deponia can be played online and you can download the full version of the game via Steam for a discounted price of $15.99. Crysis 3 Preorders begin, Official Launch Date announced as well

Amidst speculations of Crysis 3 being announced this week, EA and Crytek officially announced Crysis 3 hours back.

For those whoare familier with the Crysis franchise, would feel happy or sad to know that Crysis 3 has taken elements from both Crysis 1 and 2. That’s you will be seeing an ambience, which is a re-imagined New York City with a rainforest and swamps.

The game which will be released on December 31, 2013; is already up for preorders.

Battlefield 3' limited edition with pre-order bonuses unveiled for US and UK Gamers

A Good news for gamers in the US and UK. Electronic Arts has announced a limited-edition version of Battlefield 3 along with retailer-specific pre-order bonuses in the US and UK. Notably, Battlefield 3 is an upcoming game, which will be launched on October 25 in North America(Xbox360, Playstation3, PC) and October 28 in Europe; alongside the linked novel Battlefield 3: The Russian, written by former SAS operator Andy McNab.

How to buy:

Electronics Arts has distributed bonuses to a slew of retailers. All a gamer has to do is, pre-order the Battlefield 3 game from that retailer whose bonus appears most luring to him. Below are the retailers and the bonuses they are offering, along with the Battlefield 3 game:

Gamers in US can Pre-orders for the game through Gamestop; while those in UK can do so at Game and Gamestation. You might think that you may never get to play that third title from the well-acclaimed Diablo series. But guess what? It seems that the game has already been showing some hints for its upcoming release.

You ask why? Well, that’s because it has been reported that Blizzard will soon be having its press event for the Beta version of Diablo 3. Aside from this, it has also been told that the event was supposed to be held this month but was later on moved to August 1.

Not much info has been given though. But it is quite nice to keep our hopes that the game could possibly be a few months away.

And if ever we get our hunches right, Blizzard’s Diablo 3 Beta will officially be hitting on Mac and PC.

'Duke Nukem Forever' game attacked for allowing players to slap scantily-clad women

"Duke Nukem Forever” which hit the stores on Tuesday, after a long wait of 14 years; has rubbed women’s rights groups in a wrong way. Women’s groups are furious that the game allows players to slap scantily-clad women if they don’t cooperate.

Created by Plano-based Gearbox Software, the first-person shooter game’s aim is to rescue women from aliens; the game is rated "mature" and it’s intended for adults, defended Steve Gibson, a Gearbox spokesman; Hence timely slaps here and there can be tolerated. This is how adults behave all the time in real world! Don’t they? The spokesperson seems to suggest.

The fact that the game allows players to slap women from behind, as if they are being steered like cattle, as they’re being rescued from aliens; has made women’s groups extremely rattled.

Although, other games, like the "Grand Theft Auto" series, have been seen resorting to such violent behavior as well; the critics find "Duke Nukem Forever" taking the ill-treatment to a whole new level. They want the game to be banned immediately. Watch the video below:



For now, the game is going to stay; and is up for grabs at $60 for Xbox360 and Playstation 3 and $50 for the PC version. ---------

League of Legends: Unleashes its New Champions at E3

Great news! Riot Games has officially unveiled its 3 New League of Legends Champions at the recently held E3. These new champions will be known under the names of Skarner the Crystal Vanguard, Yorick the Grave Digger and Leona the Radiant Dawn.

And according to Riot, Skarner will be a member of highly intellectual yet brutal race and will have a built that is quite similar to a scorpion. Aside from this, Skarner will be an atrocious and vile character who will be packed with the ability to buff from his unique crystal form.

As for Yorick, he will be a bruiser with super close range combat skills. He will also be equipped with the ability to summon a horde of ghastly minions.

Leona, on the other hand, will be tasked to function as a protector. She will be equipped with a unique ability, of which, will be known as the Solar Flare. This skill will allow her to fight well at long range battles along with her innate skills for resilience and crowd control.

Aside from this, Riot Games has also announced that the popular online multiplayer will soon be packed with a full spectator mode. All of these new League of Legends updates will be rolled in the next few months or more.

Rocksmith: Release Date, Better than Guitar Hero?

If you’ve been addicted to guitar games, then you’ll probably love this upcoming game from Ubisoft. The game will be called as “Rocksmith” and will definitely bring you to the next level of guitar game evolution.

Rocksmith will get you strumming your guitar strings for all day long! It’s not like any other guitar game that you know. Why? That’s because Rocksmith “will” let you play the game on a real guitar as you pluck on your all-time favorite songs. The game’s guitars will be created by Gibson.

Aside from this, Ubisoft has also announced that the game will allow its players to play new songs by memory and will therefore, challenge its players to step away from the on-screen notes. Some of the game’s pre-loaded songs will include the “High and Dry” from Radiohead as well as the “Vasoline” from Stone Temple Pilots.

Rocksmith has been set to hit on October 11. It will be made available to Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. As for those who can’t wait, the game is now available for pre-order at Amazon. You can purchase the game for 79.99 USD.

Star Wars: The Old Republic – Release Date for PC

A lot of us have undoubtedly been waiting for this new Star Wars game that will be titled as “The Old Republic”. Well, who wouldn’t? Especially when we get to know that this game will “soon” be released.

As for those who still haven’t heard, Atlus has officially announced its latest installment for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. The new game will be called as Star Wars: The Old Republic, of which, can simply be coined as SWTOR.

Aside from this, it has also told that the game will be under the development of Bioware and will be running on the HeroEngine. It has also been reported that the Star Wars: The Old Republic will still be based on the fictional Star Wars universe and will be offered as a massively multiplayer online RPG.

The story of the game will be set in the time where the Jedi will be held responsible for the victory of the Sith. The game will also be packed with a wide range of playable species.

The official release date for this game has been set for the second half of this year. Its price has not yet been announced though but it has already been listed in Amazon (Windows Vista/XP) and will be made available for PC.
