Researchers at Microsoft, have recently unveiled Omnitouch, A clever way to turn any surface area into a navigable touchscreen.
Created in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University, the technology used in Omnitouch works in a similar way as Kinect; but what differentiates it from the Microsoft’s motion gaming peripheral is that it’s “modified to work at short range” to track finger movements.
