Exosuit Robot to allow humans Carry 100 kilograms on the Back!
How Insects are able to lift weights many times heavier than their body weight? As they have the exoskeleton. An exoskeleton, as the name suggests is the skeleton which is on the exterior. An opposite arrangement to what humans have. We have the skeleton (bones) inside our bodies. An insect in contrast have the exoskeleton which cases all the blood and the organs. You can see an insect as a juice carton. That said, robotic scientist have realised that the best way to create a robot which is not only intelligent but is also able to lift heavy weight is to create a robotic exoskeleton or exosuit, is to create a robotic exoskeleton for human. That's make the robot responsible for mechanical feats which are impossible for humans, but keep the human intelligence (by including a human in the scheme of things).

RB3D has developed the Hercule robotic exoskeleton on the same philosophy. A robotic skeleton which boosts the strength without you requiring any abs workout. The robotic skeleton is an improvement as it helps meant for those who need some extra strenght to do daily activities but also soldiers and porters who have to carry heavy loads.

The folks at RB3D in France have been working with the French Directorate General of Armaments (DGA), ESME Sudria and CES LIST to develop a robotic exoskeleton that will aid in doing just that. The person wearing the Hercule, has the carrying capacity of of 100 Kg (22 Lbs). The Exoskeleton robot is powered electrically and will last about 20km (about 12.5 miles) when the person walks at a regular pace.

The commercial development of the robotic exoskeleton for Military and civil customers will commence in 2014.

Beijing Institute of Technology China researchers,  have revealed the fourth and fifth generations of the humanoid robots, BHR-4 and BHR-5. One is a realistic android that can perform tai-chi, while the other is able to play ping-pong with excellent accuracy.

Why's a Self Balancing Unicycling Robot a Feat?

As without clear 'self consciousness' of the existence of a "Centre of Gravity", no one can stand vertical unhinged (unless has a wide base). Let alone unicycle,devoid of balance conciousness, just trying to stand at one place is a big achievement. Humans are equipped with this consciousness, that's why they not only stand but also walk and run. But the moment they lose the 'balance consciousnes' they fall. This exactly happens when a person becomes unconscious.

Hence a Self Balancing Unicycling Robot an accomplishment.
