The world's No 3 cellphone maker LG Electronics has
signed signed a global deal with Good Technology; to license later’s communications platform. A move which will help LG strengthen the service offerings on its phones; and could help hardware manufacturer LG in a market shifting increasingly toward services and software.
Previously called Good* --Good Technology’s communication platform integrates e-mail, messaging, social networking, and media sharing.
*Privately held mobile e-mail company Visto bought Good from Motorola early last year, and renamed it to Good Technology.
