Share of mobile phone revenue in Motorola’s total revenue

Motorola has recently decided to split its business into two in 2011. After split, one company will focus on cellphones and television set-top boxes, and the other on enterprise networking.The company reiterated that it planned to make the mobile device business profitable in 2010.The business split decision is a step in the direction.

In Motorola's latest financial results, for 2009 the mobile phone business accounted for 64 percent of the total revenue.
