Apple said on Monday that it has sold 1 million iPads, the 9.7-inch touchscreen tablet, in only 28 days since its launch on April 3. The company has passed that sales milestone faster than many analysts had expected.
Another noteworthy information regarding this milestone is that Apple iPad has reached the 1 million sales landmark faster than iPhone. Apple iPhone took 74 days to reach 1 million sales in 2007.
