RIM, the makers of Blackberry, are planning a straight upgrade for the BlackBerry Bold 9700. The Blackberry Bold 9780 would still go without a touchscreen, but it would come with BlackBerry OS 6.0 and come with 512MB of flash memory. In addition, A darker chrome trim will also be the novelty feature of the 9780.Given updates expected for the BlackBerry 9800, 802.11n Wi-Fi, a five-megapixel camera and more RAM are likely additions to the design, as well.
No information is on 9780's release though. Some are advising to wait till fall this year. --------
